With file index it is possible to allow frontoffice users to seach for terms in PDF, Microsoft Word or OpenOffice files, available on the website. When a match is found, the user is sent to the document itself.

On the content manager, there are no differences on the interface or behaviours. The entire process is transparent: after inserting these files on the document component, the information (text) available on those files is indexed to all frontoffice searches.

Useful for projects that have a large amount of text documents available.
